Good Cookbook for a New Dad Who Is Learning How to Cook? Good Questions

Q: My sister recently had a baby and is slowly becoming fed up with her husband's lack of cooking skills. Do you have any suggestions for a simple, quick, whole foods cookbook for a new dad?

I'm thinking of recipes with 3-10 ingredients, not too many steps, and only about 30 minutes of active cook time. She's more of a foodie than he is, so something that eases him in would be good.

Editor: Lillian, I've had great success giving Mark Bittman's How To Cook Everything to new cooks of all ages and genders. The recipes are approachable, usually quite healthy, and give lots of options for variations.
