When you have the verdant New Zealand landscape as your home's backdrop, it's natural to want to bring a little of that green inside. This MDF kitchen island (which conceals a fireplace at one end) is painted a bright green to reflect the native plants outside. And just look at that wall of windows! See another photo below:
