SPONSORED POST: M&M'S Peanut Butter Brownies Recipe & More Desserts for the Big Game

Hosting a Game Day party this weekend? What's on the menu? Are you making wings, pizza, and cheesy dip? Maybe a platter of bacon-wrapped potato bites? These savory snacks always seem to get the lion's share of attention during football party discussions but let's not forget the sweets! Here's a great simple recipe for any football party: Peanut Butter Brownies with M&M'S inside, plus a few more ideas for make-ahead desserts to please any fan.

Watch how easy these brownies are to make!
Maxwell shows us how in the video above.

These brownies can be made a day or two ahead of the party, and gently rewarmed in a warm oven or in the microwave.

Football Face-Off Tip!
To call out fans' loyalty, divide up the M&M'S and make two batches of brownies. Put one team's colors of M&M'S in one batch, and the opposing team's in the other.

M&M'S Peanut Butter Brownies

makes 32 brownies

4 ounces unsweetened chocolate
2/3 cup non-hydrogenated shortening
2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 large eggs
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups M&M'S Peanut Butter Candies

Preheat the oven to 350F. Lightly grease a rectangular 13x9x2 inch pan.

In a 3-quart saucepan, gently combine the unsweetened chocolate and shortening over low heat until melted. Remove from heat. In the same saucepan, mix the sugar, vanilla and eggs into the chocolate mixture. Add the remaining ingredients and 1 cup of M&M'S Peanut Butter candies. Stir until combined.

Spread the batter into the pan. Sprinkle with the remaining 1 cup of candies and press lightly. Bake until the brownies begin to pull away from the sides of the pan, about 30 minutes. Do not overbake. Cool completely, and cut into squares. Enjoy!
