Justine Fowler, a fashion professional, and Angus Bennett, a chef, are the owners of L'ouvrier Kitchen Bar, one of Toronto's most beloved restaurants. The couple's style is described as user-friendly and cozy. "We are a shoes-on, comfort-focused house," they tell Apartment Therapy in a recent tour. When they throw dinner parties, guests naturally congregate in the kitchen, which Angus designed himself. It includes an industrial 6-burner gas range and an office area. It might be small in square footage, but we've no doubt this room has seen the makings of many incredible meals!
