Here's how it works: every time you unpack your groceries, grab a new checklist. The checklist will guide you through how to categorize and use up your old produce (from last week) and how to plan for and store your new produce. She also includes a guide to how to store over 80+ fruits and vegetables, including which ones are best to use within 1-2 days, 3-4 days, etc.
Overall, we think it's a really terrific system. It's clear that with just a little bit of planning ahead of time, you can cut down on a lot of produce waste. More food, more money in your pocket. It's a win-win.
